Kerr-McGee Sells Kazak Oil Assets To Shell
Oklahoma-based Kerr-McGee announced on 5 February that it is to sell its oil interests in Kazakstan to Shell Kazakstan Development for $165mn. The assets include a 50% interest in the producing Arman oilfield and a 100% interest in the Mertvyi Kultuk exploration area, plus a 1.75% share in the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC).
