UK Energy White Paper Stresses Renewables, Efficiency
The UK government on 24 February issued a new energy white paper laying down an ambitious target of cutting carbon dioxide emissions by 60% by 2050, with the emphasis on growing power production from renewables projects and increasing national energy efficiency.
