Russia And Croatia Sign Agreements To Join Druzhba And Adria Crude Pipelines
The presidents of Russia and Croatia signed cooperation documents in Moscow on 17 February relating to the joining of the Druzhba and Adria crude pipelines. A link between the two would allow Russian crude to travel some 3,000km from Russias Samara region to Croatias Adriatic port of Omisalj, providing Russian crude exporters with a new, badly needed export route to world markets.
