Russia Expresses Opposition To Trans-Caspian Crude Pipeline Idea
Russias chief diplomat in the Caspian region, Deputy Foreign Minister Viktor Kalyuzhny, said on 26 February that Moscow opposed a proposal that a trans-Caspian crude pipeline be built across the Caspian Sea in order to transport Kazak crude to Azerbaijan.
