ExxonMobil Says Energy Demand Could Require New 80Mn BOE/D By 2010 At $1 Trillion Cost

An ExxonMobil executive speaking at the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association (APPEA) conference in Melbourne on 25 March said that in order to meet growing energy demand, the oil and gas industry may need to add to capacity as much as 80mn boe/d by 2010 at a cost of some $1 trillion.
