SABIC Acquires 50% Stake In StaMax

Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) EuroPetrochemicals announced on 1 April that it was acquiring Owens Cornings 50% stake in Dutch-registered StaMax BV, a joint venture formed in 1999. A statement said the move gives SABIC full ownership of this company that produces StaMax P long glass fiber polypropylene composite material. Under the new arrangement, Owens Corning will be the supplier of PerforMax glass fiber....
