Qatar Hikes Capital Spending By 40% In Expansionary 2003-04 Budget
In the 2003-04 budget passed on 29 March, the Qatari government increased its overall spending by 16.4% from the previous year to QR23.3bn ($6.4bn) with a particularly large 40% increase seen in capital expenditure which climbed to QR6.2bn ($1.7bn).
