Kazak Government Approves Caspian Development Plan
The government of Kazak Prime Minister Imangali Tasmagambetov has approved a 2003-2015 development program for the countrys offshore sector in the Caspian Sea. Kazakstan has also outlined an investment program in its oil industry calling for $52bn to be invested during the 2003-2015 period.
