New Algerian Bid Round To Include Two Offshore Blocks, Says Khelil
The next Algerian upstream licensing round will include two offshore blocks, Energy and Mines Minister Chakib Khelil announced on 19 April. He said that Algeria would invite bids for 12 blocks in the new round, which would be announced soon. The offshore blocks lie adjacent to the northern coast at Bejaia and Mostaganem in the northwest.
