Qatar Targets 77Mn Tons/Year LNG Exports By 2010, 26Mn T/Y To US
Qatar is engaged in plans to raise LNG export capacity to 77.2mn tons/year by 2010 at a cost of approximately $28bn, MEES learns. Several of the projects are under discussion while others are under construction. At present, Qatars LNG output capacity totals 14.3mn t/y (7.7mn t/y from Qatargas and 6.6mn t/y from RasGas).
