Two New Power Companies Formed In Abu Dhabi
Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Shaikh Khalifa ibn Zayid Al Nuhhayan, in his capacity as deputy ruler of Abu Dhabi, on 21 June issued decrees establishing two power companies with a combined capital of Dh2.1bn ($572mn). The first, United Arab Energy Company, is a fully paid-up public share company capitalized at Dh1.28bn ($348mn), divided into 128mn shares valued at Dh10 each....
