Saudi Arabia Moves To Tender Power, Water Plants As Last Ditch CV3 Talks Fail
Saudi Arabia has indicated it will launch international tenders for power and water projects worth $4.8bn in the next three months. The move, announced by Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) CEO Sulaiman al-Qadhi on 7 July comes as last ditch talks between the Saudi Ministry of Oil and Natural Gas Initiative (NGI) Core Venture 3 (CV3) lead company Shell have finally broken down.
