Apache Makes Gas/Condensate Discovery In Western Desert Khalda Concession
Apache Corporation announced on 7 July its largest gas/condensate discovery to date in Egypts Western Desert. The Qasr-1X well tested at a combined rate of 51.8mn cu ft/day of gas and 2,688 b/d of condensate from two zones. The well logged 606ft of net pay from six formations between 6,917ft and13,581ft.
