Oil Sector Looting Costing $95mn/Week, Says USACE
Looting of Iraqs oil sector between 20 March and 21 May cost an average of $95mn per week, according to the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). The total cost of looting over this period was $943mn, while the total cost of damage resulting from the war in Iraq was put at $475mn.
