Crude Prices Boosted By Security Fears

Crude prices were kept high last week by three bomb attacks in different parts of the world which returned security fears to the forefront of traders minds. On 31 July an explosion alongside a crude oil domestic pipeline near the Baiji refinery in Northern Iraq resulted in prices leaping the following day to their highest level since the US invasion of Iraq.
