Siemens Wins SADAF Power Generation Contract
Siemens Power Generation announced on 14 August that it had been awarded a $145mn contract to build a gas turbine power plant at al-Jubail, with capacity to produce 260mw of electricity and 500 tons/hour of steam. The plant, the first private gas turbine facility in Saudi Arabia, will be owned by the Jubail Energy Company and will supply power to the Saudi Petrochemical Company (SADAF).
