Shell Lost 200,000 B/D Of Nigerian Crude Production In 2Q Due To Political Instability
Shell Petroleum Development Company, the Anglo-Dutch companys Nigeria subsidiary, lost a total of 18mn barrels of production (equivalent to 200,000 b/d) in the second quarter due to vandalism of production and transportation facilities and theft, according to the August issue of the Shell Bulletin.
