Corruption Charges Leveled At Oil Executives, Contractors
Egypt has arrested five oil executives on charges of receiving bribes totaling $340,000 from eleven contractors, according to Egyptian press reports on 28 August. The chief executive officers of joint ventures Petrozeit Petroleum Company, Hosni Attiya, and of Qarun Oil Company, Munir Tukhi are among the accused.
