Egypt Puts E&P Bids On Hold, Question Hangs Over Gas Exports
Egypts transition government has kept veteran Petroleum Minister Sameh Fahmy, who is close to the military, in place until it hands over power to a civilian administration. However, international oil companies (IOCs) tell MEES that they expect future exploration and production (E&P) bid rounds to suffer major delays and do not know Cairos position over future gas exports....
