Statoil Targets Middle East Reserves As Part Of International Growth Strategy
Statoil aims to produce 25% of its hydrocarbon output from international operations including the Middle East and North Africa by 2007, according to Statoil CEO Olav Fjell. In an interview with MEES Editor Walid Khadduri conducted in Stavanger on 8 September, Mr Fjell outlined Statoils international strategy and in particular its plans for furthering its Middle East business.
