Iraq Pushes OPEC Oil Production Higher In August
Iraqi output gains of 350,000 b/d in August pushed OPEC oil production higher in the month, with the organization posting production of 27.09mn b/d, up 710,000 b/d from July, according to MEES estimates (MEES, 11 August). Production by the OPEC-10 (OPEC without Iraq) increased by 360,000 b/d to 26.04mn b/d, reflecting the continuation of Kuwaits high output policy.
