Egyptian Crude Output Lower In 3Q As Gas Output Climbs
Egyptian crude output continued to edge lower in the third quarter of the year, data released by the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) showed (MEES, 21 July). Gas output and sales continued to move higher reflecting summer peak power demand. Gas sales figures are lower than production as some gas is retained by producers to operate their facilities.
