Shah Deniz Group Signs Gas Supply Agreements With Georgia

The BP-led Shah Deniz consortium signed two agreements with the Georgia International Oil Corporation (GIOC) on 30 October covering the supply of natural gas to Georgia through the proposed South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP), which will carry natural gas from Azerbaijans offshore Shah Deniz gasfield to Turkey.
