10 International Developers Shortlisted For Sohar IWPP Bids
Omans Ministry of National Economy has shortlisted 10 international developers to bid for an independent water and power project (IWPP) at Sohar involving an estimated $500mn in investment. A concession award is expected in the summer of 2004. The plant, with capacity to produce 30mn gallons/day of desalinated water and 500mw of electricity, is scheduled to come on-stream by the summer of 2006....
