South Sudan Votes For Independence, North To Boost Crude Output By 85,000 B/D
South Sudan has voted for independence, the government announced on 7 February, with Sudans oil-producing South choosing to secede from the North in last months poll. President 'Umar Hasan al-Bashir earlier said he accepted the results a total of 98.8% in last months referendum in the south voted to secede.
