Lundin Petroleum Sells Tunisian Onshore Assets
Swedish independent Lundin Petroleum announced on 21 November it had agreed to sell its 50% holding in Compagnie Franco Tunisienne des Petroles (CFTP) to Frances Spyker Energy for $3mn in cash. CFTP, which is 50%-owned by the Tunisian government, has a 100% interest in the mature Sidi El Ityem onshore producing oil field in Tunisia. The effective date of the transaction is 1 July 2003.
