EIA Boosts Demand Growth Forecast To 1.3Mn B/D
The Energy Information Administration (EIA) of the US Department of Energy has increased its expectation of demand growth and also its annual demand forecasts: world oil demand for 2003 is now predicted to be 79.0mn b/d, compared with 78.6mn b/d in last months forecast (MEES, 17 November), while 2004 global demand has been raised to 80.3mn b/d from 79.7mn b/d.
