Lebanon Facing Power Cuts AfterNon-Payment Of Syrian Electricity Bill
Lebanon has been forced tointroduce rolling power cuts after Syria cut cross border power supplies. The cutin power supplies has been widely blamed on Beirut痴 failure to pay Damascus$120mn in arrears for power supplies. Lebanon normally imports some 200mw/monthfrom its eastern neighbor, but the suspension of Syrian supplies has led topower cuts across the country, including the Beirut area....
