EIBProvides 165Mn To Syria
TheEuropean Investment Bank (EIB) announced on 3 February that it would provideloans of over 165mn ($142mn) to finance projects in Syria. The two partiesplan to sign an agreement in March for a 100mn facility to supply hospitalequipment and for a further 45mn loan a few months later to be used to developthe port of Tartus.
