Iraqs KRG Regional Producers Start Oil Test Flows For Export
The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) late on 2 February started test flows of crude earmarked for export to Kirkuk, in what potentially could be the first step in a resolution to the long-standing Irbil/Baghdad oil dispute. The row has retarded oil development in the Kurdish north and roiled efforts at Iraqi political rapprochement.
