OPEC Supplies Over Half Of USCrude Imports In 2001
Annual imports data from the US Departmentof Energy (DoE) show that US dependency on imports continues to grow as demandrises and domestic production wanes, and that the percentage of supplies fromOPEC countries is expanding.
