EIA Trims 2002 Demand Growth ForecastStill Further
The EnergyInformation Administration (EIA) of the US Department of Energy has reduced itsforecast of 2002 oil demand growth still further, due to lower than expecteddemand in the year to date. In its latest Short-Term Energy Outlook,published on 6 March, the EIA says: EIAs global oildemand projections for 2002 suggest a world oil demand growth of 600,000 b/d,slightly less than the 650,000 b/d growth...
