Khelil Outlines Plan ForReduction Of Gas Flaring
Algeria plans to spend more than $220mn over the period2002-2006 on seven new projects to curb gas flaring (see table below) which,when implemented, will allow the recovery of another 4BCM/year of gas, bringingthe total national recovery rate of previously flared gas to around 93%,according to Algerian Minister of Energy & Mines ChakibKhelil.
