Two Day Skikda Refinery Strike Ends
A two-day strike affecting Algerias largest export refinery at Skikda ended on 11 April, allowing exports of petroleumproducts to resume from the plant. The strike by the refinery workers union atthe 335,000 b/d plant and by customs officials at the export terminal hadcaused disruption to tankers waiting to load products, although crude oilloadings from the port were mainly unaffected by the refinery disruption.
