Jordan Raises PetroleumProduct Prices

Jordan announced on 16 April that it hasraised the prices of petroleum products as part of its program of reducingsubsidies. The price of LPG rose by 100 fils toJD2.50 ($3.50)/cylinder and that of kerosene and diesel by 10 fils to 120 fils ($0.17)/liter.Fuel oil used for manufacturing was raised by JD4.50 to JD77 ($108)/ton, whilefuel oil used for power production was raised by JD9.50 to JD70 ($98)/ton.Minister of National...
