PoliticsOvershadow OPEC Production In April
Politicsdominated the OPEC production scene in April, bringing total output down to24.178mn b/d, compared to 25.305mn b/d in March, or a loss of 1.127mn b/d mainly because of the Iraqi shutdown during most of the month. Meanwhile,production by the OPEC 10 (excluding Iraq) in April remained relatively stable, increasing slightlyto 22.878mn b/d, compared to 22.775mn b/d in March.
