Oil Demand Will Benefit From Weak Dollar, Says PIRA
Thecurrent decline in value of the dollar will be beneficial for world oil demand,according to PIRA Energy Group, New York. In the report Dollar Weakness Will Help Oil Demand,published on 7 June, PIRA says that the value of the dollar has declined by 3%since its recent high in February, although the external value of the currencyis still almost 40% higher in real terms than at its low in 1995.
