Oxy Deepens Abu Dhabi Interests, Wins Shah Gas
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has awarded US independent Occidental Petroleum (Oxy) a contract to develop the challenging $10bn Shah ultra-sour gas field, the companies announced on 20 January. The deal extends Oxys growing interests in the emirate. It takes a 40% stake in the 540mn cfd sales gas development, replacing ConocoPhillips, which pulled out of the deal in April 2010....
