Investcorp Sees Climb In Operating Earnings
Investcorp,the Bahrain-based global investment group, announced on 15 July that operatingearnings for the six months ending 30 June climbed 28% from 2001 figures to$23.5mn. Net income after provisions was at $13.2mn compared to $1.6mn in thefirst six months of 2001. Operating earnings in the second quarter of 2002 were$49.9mn compared to a $0.4mn loss last year.
