UNCC Pays Out $708Mn For Gulf War Claims
The United Nations CompensationCommission (UNCC) has released $708mn in reparations for damages caused by Iraqduring its 1990 invasion of Kuwait, bringing the total amount of compensationmade available to $15.5bn, out of a total of $42.6bn of approved claims (MEES, 8 July).
