Irans Foreign Debt Rises After Falling For Several Years
Irans total external debt on 20 March 2002 (the end of theIranian year 1380) rose by $579mn to $7.081bn from $6.502bn at the end of thethird quarter of 1380 (21 December 2001), according to statistics published bythe Central Bank of Iran (CBI) in its latest quarterly bulletin, Economic Trends.
