Shell Eyes Ratification Of $17Bn Basra Gas Deal
Iraq Ministry of Oil and its partners on the long-stalled 2bn cfd Basra associated gas development aimed to ratify the project on 27 November, despite a reported threatened legal action by the Basra governorate. The project, which received final cabinet approval on 15 November, brings together state-owned South Gas Company (51%), Shell (44%) and Mitsubishi (5%).
