IEA Projects World Energy Outlook To2030
The InternationalEnergy Agency (IEA) published its World Energy Outlook 2002 at theInternational Energy Forum in Osakaon 21 September, predicting comparatively strong growth in demand for oil andgas to 2030. In a statement issued at the launch, the IEA said that fossilfuels would remain the dominant source of energy, filling more than 90% of thecoming increase in demand.
