AKP Names Guler As New Energy Minister
Mehmet Hilmi Guler has been named the new Minister of Energy by the Justice and Development Party (AKP), which won 34.3% of the vote in the 3 November elections, giving it an overwhelming majority of 363 seats in Turkeys 550-member parliament.
