Kuwait Government Withdraws $5Bn From RFFG Without Legal Authorization
The budgets and closed accounts committee of the Kuwaiti parliament has announced that it has been informed by the Kuwaiti Government during a review of the closed accounts of the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) that the administration had recently withdrawn an amount of KD1.5bn ($5bn) from the Reserve Fund for Future Generations (RFFG) without passing a law to authorize this withdrawal....
