Spanish Firms Win Contracts To Supply Electricity
Spanish power firms Iberdrola and Union Fenosa announced on 3 January they had won tenders to supply Morocco with a total of 250mn kilowatt hours (kwh) of electricity. In separate statements, Iberdrola said it would supply some 150mn kwh of electricity over the first three months of 2001, while Fenosa said it would supply the remaining 100mn kwh over the same period, adding that its portion of the agreement...
