BP And Eni Agree On $2Bn LNG Project At Damietta
BP announced on 21 March that it had agreed to work jointly with Eni in the construction of a $2bn liquefied natural gas (LNG) project at the Mediterranean port of Damietta. The two companies, each with a 45% share, have signed an agreement to this effect with the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), which will hold the remaining 10%. Under the deal, BP and Eni will be the buyers of the LNG for sale...
