Algeria’s Crude Oil Output Averages 891,000 B/D In 2000
Algeria’s state-owned Sonatrach in 2000 produced 891,000 b/d of crude oil, an increase of 4.0% over the 1999 average of 857,000 b/d, according to the Annual Statistical Report for 2000 published by the Algerian Ministry of Energy and Mining on 7 April. The company produced 695,000 b/d from its wholly-owned fields and 196,000 b/d from joint ventures with foreign companies....
