Crescent Denies Report Of $2Bn Iranian Gas Deal
Sharjahs Crescent Petroleum has denied a report in an Iranian newspaper of a deal with the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) to take gas from Irans Salman field under a $2bn sales agreement. The Gulf Times of 20 April carried a report that Crescent strongly denied the Iranian gas contract story and said that an official statement from the Sharjah authorities would follow shortly.
