KOC Inaugurates GC-28 In Minagish Field
The Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) on 22 April inaugurated GC-28, the second of two large-scale gathering centers built by a Chinese firm in western Kuwait, the completion of which had long been delayed. The nameplate capacity of GC-28 is 210,000 b/d of crude oil, more than 19,000 b/d of condensate and 143mn cu ft/day of natural gas, along with 50,000 b/d of water extracted from oil.
